The Virtues is a collaborative creative endeavor comprising a series of paintings embodying the essence of 12 virtues and a book that will juxtapose these images with the world’s great spiritual and philosophical teachings.
My purpose is to inspire people of all walks of life to discover the virtue inherent within them and to bring forth that virtue in their daily lives.
These are works in progress. Images and lithograph reproductions of the paintings will appear on this site throughout 2003 and 2004.
Words alone cannot fully convey the realities of the soul or the greatness of the human spirit.
Images have a unique power to impart that which is beyond words. They can tell an entire story through a single picture or imbibe the subtleties of a complex emotion. They can move the heart to great depths and evoke sudden epiphanies of understanding. Images adorn our inner life and carry great power there.
